I'm sorry I don't have any advice really but I know the feeling. I got a LOA to USMMA and then it got repealed because there is pretty much no way I'll get medically qualified. I guess i do have a little advice and thats Have lots of back ups that's for sure. I'm really sorry to hear about that...

I had open heart surgery when I was was 5 days old. But, I have never had any problems since then and I sent in paperwork from doctors showing that.

Ok thanks. I guess what I'm just trying to find out is who has the strictest medical requirements? I am trying to figure out basically where USMMA stacks up with the other academies when it comes to medical requirements to get in. Are they they really strict or not to much compared to the other...

I applied to USAFA, USCGA, USMMA, and AFROTC. I was denied medically to all of these for the same reason, except AFROTC who just has not notified me yet. I just found out that I was denied a waiver to USMMA. What is the likelihood that I might get a waiver to any of these other places?

I have applied for AFROTC, USAFA, USCGA, and USMMA. I have been deferred by USCGA and waiting on AFROTC and USAFA. I have been given an appointment to USMMA pending medical though, so I'll see where all this goes lol.
