Congratulations, but I was hoping to have some help cheering for AF when they play WP this year. All the best to your son.

We have stayed at the Residence Inn Fishkill. Provides a kitchen to warm up dinners from home. It is a bit of a drive from WP, but that is a relief for the cadets. Also close to Walmart for supplies.

While I was not able to be there live, we did watch the live stream and it was impressive. Note that it may not actually be on the 4th though. This year it was on the 8th.

As a USAFA AOG member with a DD at West Point CBT, I would value the opportunity to at least know what my New Cadet and her company are doing. In fact I log in to Web Guy now to keep up with the Basic for my area. So I would vote well worth it and wish WP had it.

I've had similar information and was waiting for R-day to purchase, so the recent requirement to donate $750 is a bit disappointing. Still hoping that this is incorrect information and we will be able to purchase on R day or our cadets will be allowed.

DrMom--thank you for the suggestion. I signed up yesterday for the 2021 Parents Page and have already found a wealth of information, including answers to several other questions I had on the forms. Sounds like you're on a wonderful trip, safe and enjoyable travels!

We're down to the last 2 items on the required submissions on the Candidate Portal, with one being SGLI. The instructions say to bring the forms and submit on R-Day (but also say that is 6/26/16), while the portal status is "Not Received - Red X " which makes me question if this is to be...

Just saw the video below on the AFA Admissions FB page--it is hopeful to see some action being taken by all the Academies against sexual assault, and also to hear the video specifically mention to not blame the victims.

With my DD entering this summer with 2021, we're starting to look at football tickets for home games and the Army-Navy Game. For home games, are the plebes given the opportunity to purchase tickets, and if so, are these better seats than available for purchase from the Army athletics site...
