Waiver limbo hangout

Well no waiver Thursday magic for DS 😆

Hoping for news soon from USMA…..but he’s been waiver requested since September so stopped holding our breath a long time ago…. Hoping AROTC has a waiver decision soon too …. its is a heavy influence into Plan B possibilities…..

I know it will all become clear in the next few weeks but dang patience is a tough virtue 😝 Thankful to hear of others shared experiences but hoping this thread becomes obsolete sooner than later!

You must forgive me as I was only trying to lighten our collective spirits. Everyone knows there is no such thing as “waiver Thursday.”

“Waiver Friday”, however, is real!

Good luck everyone. I hope today is your day!

Do y'all exclusively check DODMERB or also check DODMETS? I logged onto DODMETS for the first time in a while and it said I had an AMI to submit, but I had submitted it to DODMERB months ago and was cleared. I'm in the same wavier limbo...DQed since November 15th. With a a Senator nom and congressional nom in Texas I thought I would have been further along

I’ve tried checking both but the DODMETS says it’s closed - it’s unlikely that DS’s DQ will require another doc visit - just a personal statement that the injury is 100% resolved. I think you need to still check DODMETS if it is likely that your DQ will require a further doc visit. But more knowledgeable folks, please chime in since I might be wrong!

No waiver here, but I know of one color blind waiver that has been given in the past week and they posted on the appointments board….so they are giving them out. That individual had an LOA and my DS does not. Just gonna keep crossing our fingers. 🤞🏽
