Waiver limbo hangout

Finally DodMerb updated site and gave AIMs to hopefully start the waiver wait process. Hoping to email the 2 requests they asked later this evening. Once that happens how long is the average wait time for a response?
In our experience, DODMERB staff has been generally quick (a few business days) processing the paperwork and updating statuses….. the delay and nail biting is the waiver review authorities and their unknown timelines….
We did call our DODMERB point of contact once and he was extremely helpful in reassuring the paperwork was in and available to the waiver authorities if/when they choose to review.

Wowie! Congrats! Was this your first sign that the SA was going to seek a waiver for you? Feels like no new waiver requests have happened at all this month! Amazing news, I’m so happy for you!

I posted this in a different forum but for all those in waiver limbo here is a helpful-ish timeline (USNA)

November 9th: Submitted Application
November 15th: Disqualified
March 31st: Status change to Waiver Pending
April 1st: Conditional Appointment!

They're definitely getting a move-on in Annapolis!!
