USNA Class of 2028 Waiting and Speculating

My son has been checking his portal and excitedly telling us he's "still pending" and "still in the game". I'm proud of his outlook at this point. He knows he'll end up exactly where he's meant to be. His plan B is Marion Military Institute and he's very proud to be headed there if things don't work out for an appointment this year. im in ct too, only know one kids whos been accepted so far
 
My son has been doing this process on his own and telling us about what is going on. We have been confused on his status, so he showed us his portal today. He received an LOA and all the items on his progress side are checked with a waiver being granted 4/7. We are confused if this means he is in or not? (excited but anxious)

I only went off of what I last saw posted by the SAF member. So again, these numbers are not going to be 100%, but I thought it was an interesting snapshot.

Number SAF members in the 2024 Application cycle who have commented that the status of their USNA application was at least pending: 302

Wow! Thanks for doing this. VA won the most number of pending candidates reported here in SAF.

My DS is still pending from VA.

128 Pending reported here is a lot. Now wondering how many spots are still left. Good luck to us all!
