Thank you!!Radio silence last year when DD got appointment to NAPS from the MOC who nominated her, so don't expect anything but that offer showing up on the CIS portal.

Notre Dame NROTC is DS plan B as wellSon just got the "wait-list" notice....He'll likely decline and just head to Notre Dame Navy ROTC, which is honestly probably a better fit for him. Best of luck to all those out there, regardless of whatever path you take for a commission. In the end of the day, a commission is a commission.
A great unit and fantastic school!Notre Dame NROTC is DS plan B as well
Congratulations.Hi all! I want to give a shout-out to every single person on this thread! I have been watching and experiencing all the emotions with you. I just want all the USNA people (hopefuls and otherwise) to know that you ROCK! There is a thread just like this for the other SAs, and those threads don't even compare with the heart and personality of this thread. This is how I know USNA is amazing! The USAFA thread has 790 comments, USMA has 552 (as of a few minutes ago), and this thread has a whopping 3,840!!! That's passion . . . or obsession . . . or both! My DD accepted her appointment to USMA, but I can't wait to see all the amazing Navy people at the Army/Navy game.

I get the impression that you might have a child who is perceived as exceptionally talented or successful, and that you are a parent who has certain advantages or benefits that others may not have. Good luck.My DS emailed our MOC and he said he had not heard either. Also forwarded an email he received from USNA regarding the delay. They are also anxiously waiting.

Thank you . Wish you guys all the best.I am so sorry I hope that she succeeds in her future endeavors
I didn't discover SAF until two of my kids had graduated from usna and my third was considering it. With the first two I never even saw their portal and received all info about their application process directly from them. None of my kids or my alumni husband have ever been here on SAF - it is not necessarily a representation of the applicant or matriculated community. I would not presume this community is more proactive with admissions or its members care more than the average joe.SAF is probably better than the rest of the picture. Chances are, if you stumble across this forum and you are active within it, you are more proactive with your admissions (you care more than the average joe..) and the fact that no one on this forum has posted about an appointment is absolutely insane.
I apologize; my comment was intended for another chat. I'm truly sorry, it was not meant for your post.I don’t understand your comment.

Same here. Pending. My mom is more stressed about it than I am. It'd be nice to know, but it'll all come in due time.Still pending TX at 1819 CDT. I’m going to sleep tonight. I’m more anxious than our DD right now about this.
