CGAS appointment

Has anyone gotten their appointment packet yet? Still waiting on mine.
 
No packet here either, but I believe there might not be until they hear back from most or all CGAS kids... so hopefully around the February 1 deadline? Did everyone write back to LT Kessell already accepting the appointment?

By the way, we were surprised to see 52 CGAS appointments so far since the CGAS number seemed so small on this forum. We were equally surprised to see the large number waitlisted for CGAS -never knew! I guess not many people use this forum. very humbled and honored to be chosen for this opportunity. Congratulations to all of you here!

I replied to Lt. Kessell to accept my CGAS appointment.
 
My daughter is going to MMI next year and will play softball there. We're all so excited for her new adventure!!

Wow, we were under the impression that we don't get prep school assignments until May or so. When/how did you find out? Anyone else get prep school assignment already?

She is a recruited softball player and the coach already told her that is where she will be placed.

Do not put in her application to MMI until after you get the official assignment from Admissions. While she is most likely to be sent to MMI because of the numbers, the final assigning authority will be the Admissions Director.
 
Did anyone get the CGAS appointment package yet? Supposedly, all the EA had to accept/decline by Feb. 1, so we were hoping to get it soon. If anyone gets it, please post. Thanks!

kk21- how will this affect her NCAA eligibility? Will she only have 3 years remaining once she is at CGA? Was this a discussion item with the coach? I've always wondered how CGA works this out...perhaps the prepsters only practice during their prep year?
