Norwich University Mark Anarumo immediately out as President by mutual decision. Inner school memo leaked stated he was on leave, unknown if he would return, and the school would not discuss personal issue. Just before Christmas break Anarumo posted a cheerful Christmas video, so this is surprising. He was very liked by students, parents, and alumni.

Sad news and nervous to hear what happened if it ever comes out. I hope they’re able to find someone great to replace him. The kids deserve it. Great school, hoping it stays that way with the next president.

A nominee was announced today as the next President of Norwich. Happy to say he’s a Norwich graduate. I am optimistic.

The Norwich University Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the candidacy of Lieutenant General John Broadmeadow, USMC (Retired), NU Class of 1983, to serve as the twenty-fifth President of Norwich University. LtGen Broadmeadow is the most senior ranking Marine Corps officer to have graduated from Norwich University and has been a member of the Board of Trustees since January 2022. He was also a semi-finalist in the last presidential search, launched in 2019.
