My daughter's portal has remained the same...I think it will only change to include SLS if she comes OFF the waitlist.

My daughter also received the SLS waitlist letter--am curious about her chances as well. Not sure how many are on the list and what amount of kids have gotten accepted off the list from years past.

Sorry, I started a thread and hadn't realized this thread was about the Jan. 9 AROTC board. DS status changed to say "scholarship offered"! Very happy & best of luck to all who are waiting to hear!

DS just checked his application status and it has changed to: "You have been offered an Army ROTC Scholarship. We must receive your acceptance/declination by the date in your letter or the offer will be withdrawn...etc"!! No idea of which school, how many years etc., but we are VERY HAPPY...

Waitlisted? Any other candidates receive a wait listed letter for SLS? DD received one last week--still hopeful!

DS DoDMERB page also now lists AROTC qualified status which wasn't there as of a week ago...also hopeful it's a good sign of things to come! No change on status page.

FYI...the West Point Admissions page on facebook posted about 6 pm that they are experiencing technical difficulties with their website and to please be patient...Many people are getting an error message when trying to begin the Summer Seminar application process.
