Son average on CFA, did XC but not varsity. Got an LOE, think due to National Merit Status and near perfect SAT's. He is now a Yuk. Likely need other stuff to balance out the lack of varsity sports to have a good WCS.

Last year my son who is a plebe did not get a call, just the envelop a few days after this forum was buzzing. Many kids do not get calls.

I thought the Presidential was the service connected one? Anyway , doesn't matter, he got a call tonight, he is in. Best of luck to everyone. My older son was also appointed, did not have 5 appointments, and he is a plebe as we speak .

My older son is a plebe this year (Class of 2021) . Last year her received his appointment in the first wave in Jan, the portal was down then as well.

The Dental letter for accepted students requires a panoramic xrays taken within the last 12 months. My DS had his last set in April of 2016. It will be within 12 months if I send it in now, but when he shoes up for R day it will be older than that. Does anyone know idf we should have them done...

We did a tour recently with a cadet and were lucky enough to see a Military Movement class in a large gym , there was quite an obstacle course. Gives you an idea of fitness level and expectations. He'll probably go to the Mess Hall, its good to get an idea of the food.
