What happens if someone on scholarship fails the prt?

I am currently in the process of getting a waiver (hopefully) but I know the process takes a while. What happens if I don't know if I'm medically approved and school has started? Thank you in advance.

What is the longer part of the Remedial process? I've read that the process can take up to 4 months but what takes up the bulk of that time?

Will I get an email notifying me of a change or do you just have to check everyday?

After a physical examination, will the bird request records from me that I'm responsible for getting to them or can they do it without me? Thank you

I just received my NROTC 4-year. I am now worried about the DoDMERB, I have Chiari malformation and NF both of which I have no symptoms of and never have. Because of the Chiari I was rated for life insurance so I know it will come up. Any advice? Thank you.
