When the DODMET doctor checked my eyes he said they were in excess of - 8.00 diopters. I decided to get a second opinion and that optometrist said they were NOT. How do I tell the air force they got the wrong info? Just send the real prescription to the academy?

I know on the website it says the worst your eyesight can be is +/- 8.00 diopters. But what is that for? Because my prescription had a measure for "OD/OS Sph" and "OD/OS Cyl". Which category is that 8.0 for? My eye doctor said it might be for BOTH the Sph and Cyl added up but he doesn't know for...
