Understand. But this situation is complicated by this waitlist status. It is not an acceptance yet, but if you accept to stay on the waitlist, you leave open the possibility that you may get accepted after May 1st through possibly even later June. Which complicates accepting another service...

How does this work for the candidates who are waitlisted? If they do get accepted, how would they have time to do all of this?

My daughter also applied in early Jan. Haven't heard anything yet. I wish we could get some info on that because summer will be here before we know it!

Has anyone had experience with children going to Summer STEM? My 9th grader has applied. She's excited about it but I have no idea how those camps work---do they also have to wait for acceptance? She applied the day it opened--Jan 6.

DS 2nd try re-app to USNA, USAFA, NROTC. Tremendous growth this summer/fall and now spring semester. Rejection could have been a deep wound but instead it was reset of goals and a positive outlook/determination that has made us so proud, no matter what is in store this time around.

DS got TWE yesterday evening. One door shuts, another opens...proud that he was in such good company and just going through the application process was a great experience for him and he's still got his sights on high goals. Best to everyone, wherever you go.
