Just as an FYI - not all students awarded the scholarship attended NSI. I know that's because of COVID - hopefully going forward they will be able to accommodate everyone. It definitely sounded like it was their intent. And "zippa your mouths shutta" made me literally LOL. SO thanks for that. :)

My DD was telling me of stories she's heard regarding moldy hair... not sure if that's actually true but it was enough for her to be thankful for having short hair. Until she had to deal with inspections. I trust she'll figure it out eventually.

REALLY?!? That surprises me. I guess some people wanted to use that as an excuse to leave instead of just admitting that they couldn't handle it or they decided it wasn't the life for them.

My daughter has short hair but after NSI she decided she wants to grow it out. Probably just a backpack. It's been suggested to just stick to the list. Someone had posted pics of her son after returning from NSI in 2019 and he came back with a sea bag full of stuff. They should be getting all of their uniforms, shoes, etc while there.
