So the question now is this...... If DoDMERB DQ'd me, and USNA decided not to even consider me for a waiver, does that DQ impact my future ability to join the service? I intend to join an NROTC program and then join the Marine Corps, but if this is going to stop me from achieving my long term...

I haven’t received anything either, but through a different source I got an email that my waiver will no be reviewed. I’m a bit salty that USNA hasn’t sent an official rejection. Ya know? Fingers crossed for you though!!!

Still no official notification from USNA but heard from another source they were not going to consider me for a waiver. I have many thoughts right now, none appropriate for a public forum. To those left waiting, good luck!

I understand they have a lot of applicants to root through, and decisions to make, but I have to say I'm really disappointed with how this has been handled - in regards to the handing out of decisions. To give deadlines so we wait, and agonize, and then just fail to meet their own deadlines...

Yea, those are valid points. That's why i wasn't sure if it was permitted. The university I will attend, if i get a TWE, has NROTC but not on their campus. There are a group of them but they travel to a different local university for all of their activities and training. It's confusing to me.
