Just to put in my two cents, I selected colleges of similar if not greater expense. I was indeed granted a scholarship to 2 schools with similar costs to Yale. I also had 3 other schools of similar cost. I do not believe that school selection plays a large role in the scholarship process.

Interesting point. I never thought about it. I had a brief glance over my DODMERB questionnaire but I couldn't find anything asking about alcohol. Perhaps they assume that if you have consumed alcohol you won't bother to report it and there won't be an easy way to prove your status?
