pnwski - check your account - that $25 is probably your balance. (I've never known USAA to charge a fee in order to open an account, and I could have been wrong earlier when I said $50 minimum to open - I probably just put more money in to my son's accounts than was necessary.)

I know it is $50 to open. Inactive usually is more related to activity than balance.
