I am planning on reapplying after this rejection, but do I have to wait to start it or can I start it now? I know that the academy occasionally but rarely changes their mind on rejections but would starting a new application potentially interfere with the rare occurrence that that were to happen?

For the most part, I need to commit to college by May 1st. Assuming several appointments may go out after that deadline, how does that work if at that point I am enrolled in a different college? Would I just cancel and pick up USAFA at that point?

How does the eligibility work? I am eligible for the disab nomination because of my mom’s prior service but am I still eligible for the presidential or does one cancel out my eligibility for the other? Am I given a choice at which one I go for or is it non optional if I’m eligible for disab?
