They’re completely different processes. ROTC is the best possible backup plan if she knows what branch she wants to go into. I personally applied to both separately, and just heard back from NROTC this month, but still waiting on USNA. It’s nice to know I have a solid backup plan waiting for me...

I’m still waiting on my decision for USNA and had attended NASS, but I still would like to visit again. Is it possible to go to a CVW as a senior or is it restricted to juniors only? If yes, would anyone recommend going to a CVW or a general tour? Thank you!

I was in the same boat as you, but I had just been granted the waiver about a couple weeks ago. My advice to you would be to make sure you make it clear in your AMI that you’re serious about attending the academy and that this allergy doesn’t not affect your day to day life. Patience is key in...
