CVW as a Senior?

I’m still waiting on my decision for USNA and had attended NASS, but I still would like to visit again. Is it possible to go to a CVW as a senior or is it restricted to juniors only? If yes, would anyone recommend going to a CVW or a general tour? Thank you!

You can definitely go to CVW as a senior. From my experience, the general tour is nice to get to see the campus and learn some basic USNA history, but CVW will give you more of the experience of actually attending the school. I will say my guide for the general tour was awesome (even handed out printed admissions tips for applicants... though this may not be helpful anymore as you already completed your application) so if you can't go to CVW it is still a great experience.

I went this fall as a senior (still got rejected though ) so yes, seniors can attend CVWs. Not really sure how CVWs are given out this late in the application cycle, though. If it works for you schedule-wise, definitely attend the CVW over the general tour. The general tour provides a general overview while the CVW literally puts you in the life of a Mid for a few days.

I went on a visit in the fall too, I'd imagine if you get an appointment and reach out to your admissions rep he can try and get you a CVW with them being invite only. Or you could reach out to him right now to see if he can get you one.

I highly recommend the fall CVW for seniors. My DS attended spring and fall, and while both were great experiences, the fall event just has so much more to offer. The yard is just way more alive in the fall then it is coming out of the winter doldrums. Be sure to attend a football game if they are playing at home that weekend. If that doesn't get you hyped to attend, nothing will.
