Hi all,

My application status shows "pending"—does this mean it's in the process of being reviewed, or should I take any further action?

I sent my SAT score to USNA four weeks ago, but it hasn’t shown up in my portal yet. Should I be concerned or take any steps, or is this normal?

Thanks in advance!

Review the recent and currently active threads for insights on what statuses mean and how long it takes to update data in the candidate-facing portal.

Mine is pending as well, and my SAT scores took about a month for USNA to input them into my portal. Just have to keep on waiting

Mine is pending as well, I input my new SAT scores before I was at NSI, and two weeks after I got back, it wasn't fixed. I just emailed my admissions counselor, and they got it done within the hour.

Please be advised that I have no idea if contacting admissions was a good idea, so use at your own discretion since I do not know who your counselor us.

DD’s August scores just got updated this morning. It was pre-paid request to send from Collegeboard so I am assuming it was sent as soon as they scored it. She made huge improvement in Math none in English. She received an LOA three days ago.

Remember even if reviewed by admissions it does not mean a decision has been made. The admissions board votes on qualified, not qualified, NAPS or Foundation. If qualified, then off to Noms & Appts who manage the slates. That can take months. Same for NAPS. That pile grows. Decisions can occur at anytime. It’s best I prepare for April 15th. Many hear sooner. But many don’t. I have seen early LOAs not get the conditions resolved until April or even May. It’s a marathon, prepare for it mentally. Hurry up and wait is the way of the military.
