I went with my son today to pick up a few things before he returns for CFT. He looks at me and says, "I've been in the Army 1 year today." It is amazing the first year just zipped bye. I asked him, "what do you think all of the new cadets are thinking right now? "The little rabbits are all getting scared of the unknown" What advice would you give to the New Cadets? "Get through the first day, which will be the worst day of your life, keep your sense of humor no matter what happens and embrace the suck."
 
Yep, 1 year today. Its funny cause our AASLT graduation fell today so in the past year, I've finished Beast, my first year at West Point, and went through AASLT. Its been an awesome ride so far. Looking foward to the next 35 months
