1st yr of 4-yr AROTC Scholarship

My son is in his 1st year of his 4-year scholarship with the AROTC...we are still waiting for it to hit the Finance Office at his school. Does anyone have an idea typically when these finally show up? He has not officially signed yet, I guess there is a signing party next weekend. I was under the impression they signed at the beginning of the school year, but that didn't happen yet.

Any feedback is helpful. Thanks in advance!

My daughter is also in her 1st year of the national 4-year scholarship. She signed about a month ago, but her tuition/room&board wasn't paid until 2 1/2 weeks ago. Does your son have his CAC yet? She was told she needed that to get the money flowing (but actually got her payment a week before her CAC was processed, so not sure about that.). She was told to go into ArmyIgnite and set things up so the Army would more efficiently pay her school. Is he getting his monthly stipend?
 
DS is also a freshman on an AROTC scholarship. He's received a couple of stipend payments, and his account at school is currently showing the tuition payment made - just noticed this last week.

I'll let him know that. He has not got the stipend yet. Sounds like his school is just a little slower.
 
So he hasn’t contracted yet? I might be wrong but he will need to be contracted first before getting a stipend or tuition. For whatever reason it seems like the first time is always the slowest. I believe this due to them getting into the system and such.
 
MY DS is also first year of AROTC 4-year and somehow his tuition was paid right when the bill was due. He will not contract until mid-novemenber but is receiving backpay already, he isn't sure how but he is happy the deposit have been coming in already. :)

My son has not had his tuition paid either, for a 4 year scholarship. He contracted on October 7th. Hoping it is paid in the next few weeks.
