Congressman Steve Womack will be hosting his 2017 Academy Day on Saturday April 1, 2017. If you are interested in a SA or ROTC programs this is a great opportunity. There will be representatives from the 3 major SAs as well as the Coast Guard Academy and Merchant Marine Academy. Representatives will also be there from Arkansas colleges to discuss ROTC.
There are two separate locations: 9 to 11 is in Ft. Smith at Southside High School and 2 to 4 is in Bentonville at the Armed Forces Reserve Center near the Regional Airport. This event was where my DS met our ALO and learned a lot about opportunities after high school.
If you are in the Arkansas area, it is a great opportunity.
