I agree with you; I'd do that, too, if you absolutely want to go to the game. Last year, tickets sold out so quickly, that there were no tickets left on R-Day unless you made a $750 A-club donation.I have a future plebe, and I called the ticket office today. They will have a table at R-Day for plebe-parents to buy tickets, but the person I spoke to cautioned that the tickets may be sold out by that time. He said you can call that number, make a donation to the Army A Club ($100) and that will give you the opportunity to purchase up to 4 tickets over the phone. That sounded to me like the safer route for us plebe parents if you really want to be there.
We were told if you have only 1 cadet there and are making no donation to the A club, that 4 was the limit. I understand that depending upon your level of donation, it would allow you to buy more tickets, especially, if you had been a donor last year. Was that the case with you, JWP?You might wanna ask how many tickets you can purchase. I purchased 8 yesterday.
You are forever an 11B!I have been going to Army / Navy games for many years with my family, this year ( 2018 ) the only tickets available are nose bleed sections and are being sold by all of the overpriced ticket agencies. Anybody out there have about three to sell at a modest markup ? Thank you for any help. Former 11B10 here.
