2018 Graduation Booking

I've checked a few places, including with my Cadet, and can't get a handle on the best date/week to book a house for graduation. We are about 16 months away from graduation but we definitely want to book now if we can. I have seen the dates of Thursday, May 24, 2018 and also Thursday, May 31, 2018 thrown around. To add to the confusion, 2017 is graduating on a Wednesday. Should we just pick a week and then try to change it later when the date is confirmed, if different? Seems like that's taking a big chance of not getting what we want and/or losing a lot of money in the process.
 
Badge250, here is the link on the USAFA site for the 2017 - 2018 academic calendar. However, like this past year, I am sure it is subject to change at any time. Currently 2018 graduation is shown as Friday, 22 May. And the 2017 graduation is currently shown as Friday, 23 May.

However, I have noticed that the Academy's date and day of the week do not match up with real calendars for either year.

Thanks for the info Capri. I clicked on that link and it now has 2018 graduation as Wednesday, May 23, 2018 ! Maybe that will be the date. It all seems so fluid, I'm not still not sure how to handle booking. Does anyone know if this date is confirmed?
 
We heard on the c/o 2018 parent's FB page from the parent's liason that the date is Wednesday May 23rd. Hope that helps.
 
My apologies...
To correct all of our dates (months), graduation is in June, not May. 2018 graduation showing as Friday, 22 June on the above calendar.
 
No graduation is May 23rd. That other grad day, actually three of them, showing in the summer has to do with other summer programs.

Once again, I apologize...too many graduation dates on the calendar.
