2018 Rhodes Scholars

    The winners of the 2018 Rhodes Scholarship were announced earlier this week. One winner each from USAFA, USMA, USNA, again confirms that our service academies are among the top academic institutions. Very impressive accomplishments of these 36 men and women representing the U.S.A. can be read here:

    Nice one! This is a great honor! It is an achievable goal by any dedicated scholars with a clear mission to solve a problem to impact humanity. My hats off to this year's Rhodes Scholars. Well done!

    The usual orgy of winners from Ivys and FSAs, rarely any from smaller schools. Note in the write-ups that one student was 'active in protesting at Ferguson, Missouri and started a campus organization to fight police brutality', another 'fought to make their school a sanctuary campus'. Need any further evidence of the liberal leanings of the selection committee?
