It goes without saying those on this forum are a small subset of those who get appointments.

Take a look at the class of 2022 and 2023 USAFA appointment threads.

OF THOSE who are on this forum, the number of appointments in November is very little. Even then, it was in mid to late November. The larger numbers started in December.

My DD was expecting something (yay or nay) in Jan/Feb. She was pleasantly surprised when her appointment showed up 1 December. She had only a presidential nom on file and didn’t even do her only MOC interview yet.

Her MOC normally sends noms to SAs in late Dec/early Jan, so she figured the USAFA would wait until then to look at her file when a MOC nom is (or not) in her file.

Thing is with these SA appointments, it’s hard to tell when a file is reviewed and, therefore, a decision is made/known. It could be first in/first out but we read a lot on this forum it’s not that way at all.
 
There were four appointments in from Nov 1- Dec 1 last cycle. I would expect we will see the first appointment in the next few weeks.

1) rudycoon / DS / No LOA / 09-Nov-18 / Declined / CA / Presidential / Direct Appointment
2) OdysseyDawn / Self / No LOA / 01-Dec-18 / Accepted / MS / Presidential / Direct Appointment
3) GoCubbies / DD / No LOA / 01-Dec-18 / Undecided / IL / Presidential / Direct Appointment
4) Newinwin / DS / LOA / 30-Nov-18 / Accepted / VA / MOC / Direct Appointment
 
I guess I wasn’t clear ...sorry. Usna and West Point both have a thread which shows class of 2024 appointments . I was just asking if USAFA had one started.
