2025 portal question

MY DS received an email last night from dodmerb stating that he was qualified. However the portal at USMA is showing remdial. Is this likely a lag in updating the portal or should he look into this further?
 
My son's portal went from "forwarded to scheduler" to "Scheduled in contract area" - with today's date. He was unable to log into the DodMets until today, so confused and worried that he missed an appointment. He's now working on the medical history questionnaire. Any ideas if he should contact someone?

Status (Date):SCHEDULED IN CONTRACT AREA (Jul 7, 2020)
WHAT IT MEANS: You have completed scheduling of your testing
YOUR ACTIONS: Arrive on time to all appointments and continue to track through https://www.dodmets.com. Missing your appointment can push your medical process a couple to several weeks. Don't forget to bring a copy of your medical record/history to your visit.

If you do not mind me asking, how much of the Second Step Kit did your DS have done to trigger DODMERB?

Remember, the bunkbeds @ WP are for roommates, not parents. I think what you meant is "Your DS, the applicant, will keep watching" :wiggle:
 
I am a bit confused. Has the application portal for Class of 2025 (i.e., currently rising seniors who will graduate HS in 2021) opened up? I though it does not open up until August 1st?
 
I scheduled my exams a few days ago, but my portal has not changed from "SCHEDULER FORWARDED TO DODMERB" to "SCHEDULED IN CONTRACT AREA", but I confirmed everything on my dodmets portal and over the phone. Is this a lag between WP and DOD too?
 
just to update. DS informed me that his portal was updated today (21 days later) after he received the dodmerb email that he was qualified july 6!!

Not only is the portal open, applicants are receiving LOA's (even I was like "Wow, that's early!" but it was kids here and also the child of a great friend). So, now is a good time to work on that USMA application.
