See below for link for the Class of 2025 Academic Placement Testing Town Hall for tonight, May 6th, held by the Dean’s office. Feel free to watch/listen as well.

Date: May 6, 2021
Time: 7:30 PM Eastern

For those who missed it:
1. Take those placement tests! We do them at home and it opens up May 11th. Some are optional and others are mandatory, they'll be labeled accordingly. Some tests are just to find what classes to put you in (mandatory ones) others are more to validate (optional)
2. They explained how although AP tests don't mean an automatic validation it does help with the process.
3. You don't have to take the advanced courses even if you do well enough on placement tests.
4. We have no placement tests during Beast this year, instead we'll get to see our schedules (this is the second year in a row they've done it like this).
5. Most importantly maintain those grades, no slacking off!

(This is just what I can remember, I am sure there is a recording somewhere possibly still in the link. However, if you don't have an hour to spare this is surface level of what was said)

ALSO, Capt. Pyles stated the most common reason for revoking appointments is social media posts; be mature.
