My DD is in the same boat, pun intended. Maybe they will meet.Another one to add to the master timeline… will wait and see how my DD is feeling after AIM next week
Maybe! Best of luck to your DD! I think the getting to be on the boat is the thing mine is looking forward to most. She’s expecting this so be exponentially harder than SLE.My DD is in the same boat, pun intended. Maybe they will meet.
I hope she is having a good experience! I recall being on pins and needles all week during week 3 AIM last summer. She ended up loving it, then the next 11 months were a complete blur, and now she's right in the middle of swab summer.Another one to add to the master timeline… will wait and see how my DD is feeling after AIM next week I
Bold move posting on SAF as a swab most likely on Eagle.Kid in Swab summer right now. All I can say is.. it’s only been a few weeks, what an amazing experience so far. The kids eventually realize (if they haven’t done so) how fortunate they are to be in such exclusive company.
I believe USCGABound is the parent of a kid who is in swab summer. I don't think they are the swab.Bold move posting on SAF as a swab most likely on Eagle.
Still have 195 weeks left in your 200 week journey.
But agreed. CGA is pretty awesome. Maybe not in the moment. Others have said it before but the academies are "great places to be from." The bonds you forge with your classmates are life long and the opportunities during cadet summer training, billets upon graduation, and billets later down the road are incredible.
