2029 portals?

Hi! Preliminary application submitted early January. No email regarding NASS or CVW yet. Though he should check inside portal? Wondering if he can even log into the portal? Or does he not have a portal yet until after April when he becomes an official applicant?? When he submitted the preliminary application it was done through the 'portal login' but now cannot access it....

if i recall correctly, I got my portal access around May/June but I started my 2028 apps a bit late

My understanding is once they open the portal for the next class app, people will have access. If you are a re-app, or did the preliminary for other seminars/sessions, your basic stuff should already be populated if I'm not mistaken, and you'll get your candidate number associated with the new cycle.

I got access to my portal while I was at SLE. I remember my squadmates and I checked our emails and we got an email from USNA saying we had been given candidate status and now had access to our portals. This was on June 13th, exactly 7 months before I got my appointment!!!

I don’t think there’s access to the portal until after you become an official candidate. NASS/CVW info will come via email.

All of c/o 2028 will be filled before they give you guys access to the portal, so you got a few months

I went to NASS as a c/o 28' candidate. I got access to the portal and the "official candidate" email while I was on the Yard for NASS. So around mid-June for me.
