I was reading on previous posts that if a candidate is 3Q with a nom they have a 70-75% chance of appointment (100% if principal nom and 3Q). Curious if that is typically true and if there are any stats of how many candidates were 3Q with a nom last year and how many we're offer appointments? Seen that data before but not can't seem to find it now. DS is 3Q with 2 noms in competitive CA. Also read somewhere that Ca is one if the last states they appoint from when using the National pool because of the # of candidates.? Is that true? Trying to get a grasp on reality... Hoping for the best and preparing DS for the worst!
