I know its a week away but im leaving mid week to go out there so i need to know if there are any dinner plans... i saw one on another thread but i think it was under a different title... its just me and my dad and we'd love to get together with some people so orientation isn't boring... were also staying at the embassy suites if anyone wants to throw some huge hotel party lol
 
There is indeed a dinner at Red Robin next weekend. Stay tuned for more information once this one is complete.
 
well ill be going for sure too. Im staying at the Academy Best Western though lol. coming in sunday afternoon....
 
4/26 Orientation/Embassy Suites

Our family will be at Embassy Suites. My daughter (Carrie) is an Appointee. We live in Boulder, CO about an hour and a half from the Academy. We'll see you at hotel and/or dinner on Sunday.
 
My family and I will also be staying at the Embassy Suites...

dohdean - Just curious, who was your daughter's ALO? I live in here in Westminster.
 
definitely! lol. hotel party! hahahha. im down for meeting up at a hotel to swim or something so we can hang a bit more before orientation....
 
ALO for Boulder High School

My daughter's ALO has been Capt Schrecengost from Broomfield -- I'm guessing he may be Westminster ALO also. We'll look forward to meeting you next weekend!
 
Actually my ALO is a retired Lt. Col. Jones. Congrats to your daughter and look forward to meeting you and your daughter at the dinner next week!
 
tonight's dinners went well. give us a day or two at the latest to make reservations, and we'll let you know. worst case, PM me with your cell number and we'll get a hold of you before sunday afternoon
 
Eagle, we've just arrived home and the dinners went MORE than "well." The parents I spoke with were so glad and appreciative that they went. One parent I met, said they had planned to go -- then decided not to. I think they regretted it because they were sitting with two different sets of parents who had attended and sung your (and the other cadets who attended) praises! Thank you SO much for the effort you went to -- the cadets at both Olive Garden and Famous Dave's seemed to have had a great time. For other parents who may be reading this -- don't skip this. It is a wonderful opportunity.

Please add 2 people to our party for dinner at Red Robin (father and brother of appointee) -- for a total of 4 people.
