Hey guys, I'm a 4/c here at the academy. I can attempt to answer any questions you have about the schoolyear or cadet life.
I'm a C4C at USAFA. What was your guys's Basic like?Hey guys, I'm a 4/c here at the academy. I can attempt to answer any questions you have about the schoolyear or cadet life.
Lots of static holds, company runs, etc. It's not crazy but definitely challenging. I lost 30lbs. How about ya'lls?I'm a C4C at USAFA. What was your guys's Basic like?
I applied EA and was medically disqualified shortly after. I received my waiver about six months after receiving my appointment.Back to application.. did you apply EA or Regular. Any recs on that?
Check spam for DODMERB info. Most mail servers like to send it there. Thanks Baseball Guy.. My DS did apply EA but will likely need a waiver. I am a little concerned he has not yet been contacted to initiate his DODMERB and he submitted his EA application all complete in early October. Wondering if that length of time is sign that he might not be a good EA candidate
We did a lot of marching and drill and some running and push ups and stuff too.Lots of static holds, company runs, etc. It's not crazy but definitely challenging. I lost 30lbs. How about ya'lls?
30 lbs over Basic?? That seems like a lot for how long Basic is... I think 6 weeksLots of static holds, company runs, etc. It's not crazy but definitely challenging. I lost 30lbs. How about ya'lls?
I completed AIM this past summer, and according to the admissions classes that we undertook, around half of the incoming class to CGA were former AIMsters (please correct me if I am wrong). Also, many of the AIM Cadre were prior AIMsters; in fact, 5 out of the 6 cadre for my platoon completed AIM. It is also a thing you are able to check off on the CGA application.Do you think AIM has any affect on the application, i've heard it doesn't, but I was waitlisted and never pulled off unfortunately..

I agree with this. My daughter's cadre said her evaluation would be added to her application information. In her case, their input only strengthened her application.I do not know how much weigh it carries in the admission process but I would say that it can help/hurt depending on your performance at AIM. I do know that my sons cadre for AIM did submit their review(s) of him for his folder (information from his AO).

Well....she already had a really strong application. But, during AIM, the cadre discuss how the AIMSTERs are doing. Her cadre told her she was one of the top. Based on his verbal feedback, I am assuming he wrote something similar in his evaluation. I do not know if she got to see the actual evaluation or not.How do you know this strengthened the application?
Sorry looks like we hijacked your post!!!Hey guys, I'm a 4/c here at the academy. I can attempt to answer any questions you have about the schoolyear or cadet life.
