4 year vs. 3 year scholarship

Hey everyone,

I am a high school senior that is Early Admission and will graduate with 33 college credit hours. My question is: Will I be considered for the 4 year AROTC scholarship regardless of my college credit or, if I am awarded a scholarship, be given the 3 year? I am asking because I was under the impression that since I am a senior I am applying for the 4 year National scholarship, but after speaking with a recruiting officer from a school I am looking at, I was told that I most certainly would receive the 3 year.

It honestly depends on a number of factors, including your stats (how competitive you are). of all AROTC scholarships about 25% are 4 year and 75% are 3 year scholarships.
