500 USMA Appointments Mailed Out Today

Congratulations!!![emoji322] Still waiting here in California...
Another one from California is waiting; DD with LAO received on August 8, 3Q, 7th sem grade uploaded on Jan 5, and Senatorial nomination on Dec 15 and Congressional nomination just posted yesterday, Jan 18, 2017.

So begins the infamous mail box stalking season! Deep breathes! Relax! Make sure you stretch before the sprint to the mail box (you don't want to pull a hammy)! Congrats to those who have received that lightning bolt in the mail and a prayer for peace and patience for those who will be waiting till late spring for theirs! As a dad - been through it twice and I know what you all are feeling so good luck to all!

DD got her appointment today, and we live in Indiana. I can hardly keep the tears back. Congrats to everyone who received theirs already and for those holding out, remember this is only the first of many batches. It's worth the wait, I promise.
Let the tears flow! I have a 2018 and a 2019 and it still hits me! Congrats! Your DD is embarking on an incredible journey!

Anyone from Wisconsin get one yet? The map said it takes 2 days and I haven't got a call from my MOC.

Take the map with a grain of salt, like I said earlier TN says 2 days, but DD found with a little further digging that our particular area was three due to being a rural PO and having to go to main PO first before being delivered.

I get the feeling I'll have no such luck; I live in a pretty urban area. Do they always release appointments en masse like this or is it usually a trickle of a couple dozen a week?

This is first time through process but from what I read they come in a few big waves like this and then trickle in afterwards later in the spring.

Anyone know how to look up specific delivery times? I was able to put in West Point's zip but not mine and am trying to figure out an accurate timeline for the bfe?

No specific delivery time. On the top right portion of the Priority Mail Delivery Map, there's a legend for the number of days for Priority Mail. There are three shades of blue: darkest blue is 1 day and the lightest blue is 3 days.

I don't think you even can look at the specifics; I tried and it yielded no results. Honestly if it doesn't come tomorrow it likely won't--barring some USPS screw up. The waiting is agonizing.

Any good news??? Nothing yet here, the mail just came and nada. I think our mailman is thinking I've lost it! Lol! I guess I shouldn't be surprised, we weren't expecting anything until Friday at the earliest. I got hopeful when I saw a couple appointments from Ca. This. Is. Excruciating. [emoji30]

Thanks @cobaltfox! The map says two days, but I'm pretty sure it will take at least three, it always seems like our mail takes longer.

Do you or your DC have a plan for celebration?? DD's involves copious amounts of canned frosting when/if it ever comes! [emoji23]

This is totally old-school when we used to wait by the mailbox for our college acceptances/denials back in the day.

Didn't have email or portals. Just waiting for the mailman.
