Hey everyone! Recently, I was awarded the AROTC 3 year scholarship and just found out (today) that I have 6 disqualifications. Some of which are mental health related as I had a an episode of circumstantial anxiety, self mutilation, and depression last year. Along with my mental health DQs, I was also DQd for a history of psoriasis (currently resolved), a shellfish allergy, and high astigmatism (despite my vision being correctable to 20/20). I've wanted to serve as an Officer my entire life, and it's extremely disheartening to have this many disqualifications. Is there ANY possible way that I could receive a waiver for all of these? Is there anything that I can do to increase my chances? Everything (besides my shellfish allergy) is non-progressive and is RESOLVED (if that helps) as of today. I'll take any help that I can get!
