7th semester grades

Does USNA obtain 7th semester grades? Do we send them or do they request from guidance office???

If USNA wants to see 7th semester transcripts they will request them from the candidate.

My son's school waits to weight their GPA until the 7th semester. My son's rank will go up as he has 8 weighted classes and a 4.0 this last semester with 3 weighted courses. The whole waiting until now to weight gpa and rank seems to be detrimental not only for USNA but also for one other university that determines merit aid with rank and ACT. Is there any way to send the transcript for USNA with the new and greatly improved rank due to the weighted coursework?

My DD is in same boat and she emailed admissions and explained situation. They told her to have official transcript sent from school.

NavyHoops is spot on as always. Also, some schools will automatically send new midyear transcripts to colleges the students applied to without being asked to do so. The school my kids go to does that, and I remind them about it. I remember reading a post from Murfthesurf how that hurts the classmate of his son.

Just found out he emailed on 12/26 but has not heard back from USNA. Merit aid has been awarded from 3 of his 4 accepted universities and the last will be a longer wait.

Glad to know he can send the new transcript.
