‘23 here. You are allowed to go off post with your family, but you won’t have time to see family during reorgy week. Definitely one of the most stressful weeks here at West Point. You can’t go anywhere alone until after the parade on A-Day either way. You do have to be back at like 1130 on Saturday night, but can leave at 0530 Sunday morning.
This isn’t something to worry about now though honestly, in my opinion.
