Academic Boards and Returning from breaks

Does USAFA require cadets to possibly have to return early from Christmas break for an academic board for an F?
 
I wouldn’t imagine so. USAFA follows a strict OPORD that outlines when cadets are allotted leave. Great thing about that means that they can’t take away days outlined in that OPORD. If a cadet has an ac board it probably will happen beginning of Spring semester.
 
Thanks. That's basically how I remember USAFA operating from over 30 years ago. USNA not so much based on DS's room mate, as well as others, being ordered to return a couple days sooner due to a disappointing result in a class to do an academic review board, or whatever it is called at USNA.
