Academic issues

I'm in my 4th or so week at my new school in my sophomore year, and I'm doing Army ROTC. However, recently within the past couple of weeks or so I've noticed some "academic" issues with myself as I have appeared to have failed a string of quizzes, and I'm having major issues understanding material in a Gen Ed Art class I have to take. Including one in ROTC, all of this is unsettling to me to say the least. Even though I was poor student in high school, I've excelled beyond most in college, and I have what most professors would describe as good study skills. I also spend a great deal of time studying, more so then the average student or ROTC cadet.

Again, this all unsettles me in a major way.

Any opinions on what I could do to turn these issues around?

Go visit your instructors.
If you are not getting the material then you most likely have an issue with study skills or comprehension.

What resources do you have? (Professors, TA's, academic centers, tutors, classmates, etc?)
