I have a principal nom, so I am just looking to be triple qualified for appointment. The paths to physical and medical qualification are pretty clear. More blurry to me is the path to academic qualification. I have a 1520 SAT and 3.94 unweighted, 4.30 weighted prior to beginning of senior year. I am worried whether a potential B or even a C in a few classes first semester of senior year would threaten my academic qualification. Please let me know if these would be major factors, or whether me failing a course would be the only threat to my academic qualification.
Thanks to everyone who responds.

Pass the CFA, pass the medical. Have leadership experience. Have sports on your resume. Keep grades at B or above is likely safe at this point. Don't get arrested.

I think you will find if you put all of your grades in a GPA calculator, that by this point in your educational career, your GPA will change very little. Honestly, if you have a 3.94 unweighted, I think it's very unlikely to drop even below a 3.9, but I don't know what your transcript looks like. Obviously, finish as strong as you can, but I think colleges and committees everywhere know that Senior year might contain some of your toughest courses, and given we are in a pandemic, I think this is a semester that many people understand that grades may be a little off due to distance learning, changing circumstances. And on top of all that, we are at the very end of the semester, so you may not be able to change it anyway. Don't be too much in your head. Enjoy your time with your family and friends and enjoy the easy life of senior year.

My understanding is that GPA is only considered through junior year. Senior year transcripts are requested to just ensure you did well.
