Generally how good do your grades have to be to get in? I understand there's no exact answer but approximately how high would your GPA and ACT have to be? Thanks in advance.

GPAs are so school-specific, they are hard to be put into a meaningful metric - look at https://www.usma.edu/admissions/SitePages/Class Profiles.aspx for a snapshot of the Class of 2021. Also, please remember that academic performance is only a portion of the WCS - a candidate with 800s on each section of the SAT could get denied if the rest of their package is not also strong.

As I have seen at least one of the sage moderators recommend - look at each at each and every page of the admissions site for valuable insights regarding the application process, standards and recommendations.

Excellent question. I was able to receive an appointment although I was only in the top 20% of my class, but its more of being a well rounded individual. I have a 32 super score ACT, but other than that my grades were not spectacular compared to other candidates.

It also depends on who you may be competing against in your district.
