Acceptance Day Parade

Son said they had a few fainters again. My app said it was 65f at 9am. People still locking their knees I guess. Back to school for the Wing!

There’s always fainting at parades. Biggest problem is they don’t hydrate enough.

My ds said it was a lot better than last year. It was cooler so I’m sure that helped. We’ll see how the PW parade goes. It was HOT last year and it seemed like cadets were falling out all over the place.
 
I will be properly hydrated and not locking my knees in the stands on PW Parade if I get up there in time for the parade.

USNA had their Plebe Parents Weekend parade in 85f temps with 95% humidity. No one fainted. Just saying…
 
Then there was that time we did a noon meal parade...in 95 degree weather....in service dress.

I think the total was 97? Something like that. Probably something to do with standing in the blazing sun in what is essentially a sauna suit
