Need some advice...

My DS's app package is already competitive and complete. He re-took the ACT for a second time and received higher scores in two sections but lower in two (calculator died during test). Is it worth getting the higher scores in but showing admissions lower scores in the other two? Composite did not change.

Sounds similar to DS's ACT results. He sent both scores, since they superscore. His composite was the same. He got an LOA in July, so the lower scores on subsections must not have been a problem.

Since USMA superscores, send the new scores-- it will help your son's file. The only time I can think of when you would not send scores is if one of the sections was significantly lower than the rest. For instance, on the retake if you had a 32 in math, 33 in reading, 30 in english, and a 17 in science then I wouldn't send those scores. The 17 in science would raise more questions than the other three scores would answer.
