ACT / SAT updated scores

DD is in the final stages of USNA and NROTC MO applications. It is her understanding that if she submits her applications using her current test scores she will not be able to update her applications with the August and October test results.
Is it best to hold off submission of applications until these test results are in?

You can always send in updated test scores using collegeboard, even if your application is complete
