Active Duty Recommendations

I was offered the opportunity to have our wing commander to sign a recommendation. Would having a recommendation from a Brigadier General be beneficial? I know the Academy is wanting a more personal recommendation than a list of accolades. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
 
It certainly can't hurt. If you have that opportunity then absolutely take advantage of it.
