Hey there. I just recently graduated from Air Force basic training, and am now setting my sights on new horizons. I would love to be able to attend the Naval Academy, and I'm curious if it is common or even possible for an active duty member of a different branch to apply for and attend the Naval Academy.

If you haven't already, read every page, dropdown and link on service academy admissions web pages. Many answers will be found there at the primary source.

And give AF a chance! The absolute first thing you must do is be a top-performing Airman. Enlisted candidates for any commissioning program must have documented strong performance, superb conduct, outstanding professionalism, along with the support and recommendation from their chain of command.

Edit: Saving you the search, here's where to start:

There is a Navy senior enlisted staff person in Admissions who handles enlisted applicants.

Oh yes sir/ma'am, I'm doing everything within my power to be a top performer. Studying my butt off currently to be a top grad in my technical training so as to start off with a bang.
