Additional Medical requirements question for being Pilot - USAFA

Hi All,

My DS is considering USAFA. 3Q + Nomination. He is already got appointments in USNA and USMA. Flying/ Cyber/ Space prog are his priorities while in force. Other SAs do offer these but he think USAFA is better suited for him.

Just wanted to know, what are the other medical requirements/parameters for a Pilot, if you can disclose any. While he is good shape (athlete) with vision correction ( very small number).

Appreciate any inputs. This would help us to guide his decision.

Those medical requirements are not employed during the DoDMERB process.

Those are only employed as a junior, during their Flying Class I exams
